New French Bar Courtyard Cafe features the best in casual dining, live entertainment, casual catering and local artwork. The NFB is located on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville, a 30-second walk from the heart of the city.
Our new menu, created by Chef Joe Brigdan, offers a wide range of tapas-style entrees, hearty sandwiches and hand-crafted desserts. We also have an awesome selection of wines, beers and liquors from around the world. Our kitchen is open late every night with everything on the menu -- and we do mean everything.
New French Bar is the place to catch live entertainment like none other. Electronica, punk, jazz, bluegrass, metal, noise, chant -- we'll even let yodelers in if they help sell the goods. NFB is also "ground zero" for lots of local music talent such as Kings of Prussia, The If You Wannas, Verizon Soundsystem and Freakuency. If you like to support local music (and you should), or you just want a different kind of good time, we are always here for you with open arms. Our cozy courtyard is a great place for a meet-and-greet, business social or pre-reception get-together. We'll make just about anything you want to eat for you and yours, including our locally-famous Cheese Plate or Spinach Artichoke Dip.
